PLU LABELING & INVOICING SYSTEMS

PLU and Product labeling systems for the 7XX series are programs in which multiple products and information can be stored and accessed at any time. As with all our programs the PLU systems are highly flexible, and in most cases can be tailored to the customers exact needs.

Application 777

Application 788

A 777 software application for batch weighing of products with bar code labeling. The 777 has it's own database with information about products, up to 600 PLU's that may be stored in 1 MB RAM configuration. (There is the option of having more PLU’s stored with a memory upgrade to 4MB).

Initially the supervisor enters or loads information for different fields, i.e. ingredients, storage instructions, place killed, place cut, place packed etc. PLU's are then created using information from these fields with the addition of shelf life and customer code. When a PLU is selected (it only takes a couple of seconds between selection even if the memory is full), a batch number is requested and the software will allow printing of that batch. Different types of thermal printers are supported: TEC series, Eltron, and lists of information may be printed on ASCII printers. The database search engine uses fast index search to reduce search time when large amounts of data are stored. Excel Link and networking with other 777/778's and the PC is optional.

PLU 777 TCP is a software application for the Cardinal 777 indicator allowing unlimited PLU’s to be stored (depending only on the capacity of the PC server storage device), and quickly recalled from the PC into the 777 indicator.

Four different labels can be printed for each PLU including information such as ingredients, storage instructions, kill location, cut location, born, reared, slaughtered, and packed location. This allows complete traceability for various meat products.

The PC server software can work with a large amount of the 777 indicators via TCPIP protocol.

A Product Look Up application for the food industry.

The system prints invoices after the products have been weighed, based on a price per kg which has been previously entered in the memory of the 788 indicator by the user. The software has a products and customers database, and a user friendly interface with menus and a quick recall for PLU's.
